Your notification settings
Every user controls their own alerts, within whatever an admin has enforced.
Page: Settings -> Notifications (/settings/notifications), reachable from the account menu on the top-bar avatar.
Set your default channels
At the top of the page, Your default channels applies to every alert that does not have its own override. Tick the channels you want: in-app, email, push, Slack, Teams, or SMS. If your organization has set org default channels, the page shows them next to yours so you can see what you are changing.
Always keep in-app on so the bell remains a complete record.
Channels and devices
Expand Channels & devices at the top of the page to:
- confirm your verified email address,
- click Enable mobile push on each browser or phone you want push on; the device is then listed as "Active on this device",
- link your Slack account so personal alerts arrive as DMs, see Connect Slack.
Tune an individual alert
Alerts are grouped by category: Forecast quality, Operational, Workflow, Reviews, Compliance, and Custom alerts.
Each row shows the name, a severity pill, the channels in use, and an on/off toggle.
- Toggle the switch to turn the alert on or off.
- Click the gear to open the editor, where you can set:
- the channels for that specific alert,
- the email cadence: Send immediately, Daily digest (08:00 UTC), or Weekly digest (Mon 08:00 UTC),
- quiet hours and your timezone,
- the thresholds that gate delivery, for example how far behind pace counts as behind.
- Click Save changes.
Show details expands the resolution panel: rule default, role default, org override, and your override, so you can see exactly why you are or are not receiving something.
Quick mute
Use the inline mute presets on any row when you need quiet for a while: 1h, 4h, Until tomorrow, 1 week, or Unmute. Muting is always yours to control, even on alerts an admin has enforced.
When an admin has locked something
Rows that your admin enforces show a lock and the note "Channels enforced by admin" or "Set by your admin for everyone in your role". The enforced fields are read-only; the rest of the row still belongs to you.
Reset
- Reset to Default on a row returns that alert to the baseline your admin defined.
- The page-level reset returns every alert to the admin baseline and confirms with "Your alerts now follow the defaults set by your admin".
Digests and briefs
| Item | What it is |
|---|---|
| Daily digest | One email each morning bundling the day's events |
| Weekly digest | One email each Monday bundling the week |
| Daily Brief | A narrative summary of your locations' performance |
| Weekly Scorecard | A weekly performance roll-up |
| Forecast Reminder | A nudge to submit or publish the forecast before the deadline |
Troubleshooting
| Symptom | Fix |
|---|---|
| No emails at all | Check the address on this page and your spam folder; ask an admin to confirm the email provider in Admin -> Channels |
| Push never arrives | Re-enable push on the device; browsers drop permission after a reset |
| Toggle snaps back | The alert is enforced by an admin, or the org override is On for everyone / Off for everyone |
| Too many alerts | Raise the threshold in the gear editor, switch email to a daily digest, or mute for the shift |
